Baby thrush AKA Eepers whos moved in my house :)

Eepers the baby thrush I rescued from my cats this morning

oh my god she is so pretty what are you feeding her?

I was feeding cat pouch for poritein and was going to buy her live mealworms But Eepers died overnight Despite being hoppy and chirpy when we went to bed, we woke to find Eepers unfortunetly expired
Fugging blasted cats of mine!!!

Sadly as I think was mentioned on facebook this does often just happen even when there are no visible problems We used to look after most random hurt animals because my Dad was the only person in the village who knew how. Sometimes even though they seemed fine they just wouldn't be able to make it through the night

Awww Im so sorry he died. When my cats were outdoor cats (before that local b*****d started poisoning loads of cats) they used to catch so many birds, I tried to save them all and only managed with one, and oddly enough that was the one that looked nearly dead when they brought it in. All the sprightly healthy looking ones died later , that is one thing I dont miss about them being outdoor cats.

:O poisoning local cats?! Surely that's illegal?

poor eepers and unfortunately we have a poisoner in our neighbour hood, he tried to kill pippa my collie once throwing rat pellet laced chicken paste sandwiches over the wall, I have to search the garden when she goes out now, apparently he is a mental that they wont do anything about, makes me wish the old mental institues were still open.
