Remy and Emily

Here are my two girls!

Remy was a rejected runt so has been with Emily (formerly Chips) from a very young age. They're both somewhat... Hyperactive We haven't had them out here yet though, I'm giving them time to settle in first. Poor Emily is in season at the moment and Remy is being mean and chasing her round the cage! I will post more pics tomorrow from when we have them out for the first time (if we aren't too busy crouched over trying to get them off our backs!)

By the way, you can't really tell and they're both quite small but Remy is teeny!

Remy isn't quite a blue she has a little white patch on her tummy (you can see it in the second picture) Emily is indeed a husky though I'm pretty sure

Yeah she's a Blue Berkshire, white on tummy = Berkshire.

Lionel is a pathetic Berkshire/self as he only has a wee patch of white on his tummy.

They really are. I have discovered Remy is really easily won over with a few yogurt drops, she now happily climbs out onto me, for the first few days she was a pain because she wouldn't come out onto either of us and squirms enough and moves fast enough that picking her out is tricky. Me and Dom both put our hands in yesterday and she went right past him and onto me Emily's easy she just thinks humins are fun to climb and great vantage points I changed the whole top to make it easier to get them out but honestly it's so much harder getting them back in than it is getting the out! We're rat proofing the whole sitting room so hopefully today they will get to roam it for the first time and maybe tire themselves out a bit more, Emily understands the wheel is to use up her energy but I don't think Remy's got it, her main form of exercise (when she's not out of course, we've been sitting with them in the bath the last few days) is chasing poor Emily all over the cage :-/ They seem to be slowly sorting out their differences though...

We've rat proofed the sitting room so they've been running around there though of course we still keep a close eye on them They've also been getting peas from a paint roller tub as I want to teach them to swim, so far neither seems phased by the water though I've no pics of this yet

They seem to be, and they seem very happy here as well which is nice, Fudge spent the first fortnight trying to escape his cage but the girls settled down pretty quickly. Remy's dominance issues aren't as bad either, except when Emily is in heat but they're happy to curl up together and stuff now which is good. Remy was being a cheeky wee sod and nicking the peas Emily got last night but she did go in for a couple herself and seemed happy with water which was good
