Well done you! That is how I think a cage should be.
I have seen an awful lot of pictures on other forums.... and they are packed full of stuff. Stuff they probs dont use nor need. Then people wonder why they have fat rats! They probs wobble off of one hammock onto the next 10 before wobbling to the floor.
I used to feel bad like my cages weren't good enough, then I realised how fit and healthy my rats are compared to an awful lot of others.
3 of my cages are 5 odd foot tall. I keep the food, water and litter trays at the bottom. Their sleeping places are at the very top. Odds and sods stuff in the middle.

ok... rant over... sorry Embarassed

GREAT CAGE !!! geek

Nope i totally agree. I have to crowd the boys cage a little more as we have the brain damaged boy - but the girls need lots of room to ping and play - i like to give them a bit of floor space for wrestling and keep the comfy sleeping areas to the top of the cage. Foods either floor level or v ery low down.

I've seen soem cages on FR that you couldn't swing a rat in because there's so much stuff. It's got all the bases covered, climbing, snoozing and playing. S'all good!
