Cookie trust is gone with manhood

I thought this would only be a few days and then pass but nearly a week on into getting his manly parts snipped and Cookie won't trust me at all, there is a serious lack of ratty love going on which is slightly depressing as being my only adult boy he is my favourite really, I am starting to wonder if I shall be forever seen as the monster to him, the only good news with him is today he took a yogart drop very nervously but he did take it, it will be sad if I am back at step one with getting his trust back.

You have to remember he is going through the loss of hormones now his nads have gone and it may take him a while to feel 'right' again. It will also knock him for 6 being away form other rats. I wouldn't worry too much, once the 2 weeks is upa nd he's back with his girls he will be back to his confident self.

Time and love is all thats needed, Like wee one said dont be disheartened

its the way he looks at me like I caused him his pain, silly I know but meh, anyway I am sure when he has a harem of females to swoon over him he will be happy.

IT's more likely that it's the hormones. If anything a neutering wil make him more affectionate in the long run.

yeah well lets hope cause he is my neck warmer and I am missing his snuggles

Is he settling a bit more now?

he does seem a bit calmer sleeping alot tho, he snuggled up to me all of yesterday and he took a yogart drop again so thats good.

His hormones will be settling now so will feell less violated. i imagine any post surgery pain etc has gone now and he'll be adjusting to his bachelor pad. Bet you can't wait to have him back in with his friends! :oD

he seems to be sleeping ALOT

He'll be bored with no ratty company and recovering.

I keep getting him out and he just curls round my neck to....he is my poor sleepy boy.
