Just a thread to show off the things you have made that you don't intend to sell - unless someone asks really really nicely!

Wow those are awesome! You have much talent I love the little purple rings (though to be fair anything purple tends to catch my eye it's a weakness, I sleep with a purple elephant)

EDIT: Purple elephant is not code for Dom, it's a children's toy I took all the noise making things out of because it's über cute, I call it Lilly

The little rings are piece of pish to make, i knocked em up while watchinga film.

They look a bit of a fiddle though, I often find intricate work ends up frustrating me more than anything else

I'm a bit of a computer nerd, this was one of my projects for college, I call it a protoHARP as it's the prototype for the instrument, it's pretty much a break the beam keyboard with pretty LEDs

I bow down to the superior crafting skills OMMMMM we are not worthy

Is that on instructables? If so, i've bloody seen that on there! AWESOME!!

Not yet, it will be when it's done, there are a lot of led based things on there though

Yes but they only looked at the code, assholes, I spent aaages making it and all they looked at was the effing code! And didn't look at my other projects at all!

Yeah, I mean obviously it was great they took me but I spent months working on loads of projects to prove I was a good candidate so when they only looked at one tiny bit of code I was just kinda like 'urrrgh, what a waste of my time'

sorry I would be really annoyed software is no good without hardware to run it on.
