I think megazorb can be a bit dusty. You're better trying to fine a equestrian supplier locally, they will do huuuuuge bales and you can contact the manufacturer to confirm they're dust free.

Megazorb is dust extracted so it should be ok - I use it for my hamster who has the same potential problems as a rat with dusty stuff Smile I was planning on using it for my rats too when I get them, it's dirt cheap and really very absorbant.

I've heard good stuff about aubiose. I don't know why people still use wood shavings as card/hemp etc seems to hold the smell away for much much longer than shavings ever did.

I think I can get the same quantity of shavings £2 cheaper, its hardly worth the risk for £2 is it.

Well no, not when you can het a whopping big bale of cardboard and hemp stuff for under a 10er (my card thing is only 5.50 for a massive big bale).

I've been thinking of switching over to Aubois for Fudge, how well does it hold the smell though? I'm loathed to leave megazorb as it's so damn absorbant it's ridiculous.

I use finacard but have been looking at other stuff recently but might stick with what works.
